| In this globe swim 20 live goldfish around my head. It's a mystery to me where my ideas come from;they come from my daydreams, my sub-conscious. Perhaps with this piece I wanted to talk about my alienation: the alienation of being an artist in this material world;the alienation of being an American living in Holland. Or maybe it's about my existential loneliness. I don't know;it's just an image I had to see. | |
